Tarheel Fish & Game // About Us.

David Hubbard and Tom Morketter are local sportsmen that share a mutual, life long love for the outdoors. From a very young age both David and Tom have had a passion for hunting and fishing which has grown stronger over the years and has now led them to bring you TarHeel Fish & Game, Inc.

David Hubbard has been involved in his family's plumbing business, Hubbard Pipe, for most of his life and is very involved in Ducks Unlimited as well as many other outdoor organizations. David has hunted and fished extensively in our imediate area as well as around the United States. Hunting and fishing trips to places like Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico and Russia have provided David with wonderful memories to last a lifetime.

Tom Morketter has been in the hunting and fishing business for most of his working years. As a field represenative for Glock Firearms, Weatherby Rifles and Shotguns and many other quality lines of outdoor gear, Tom traveled the southeast for ten years representing quailty outdoor gear manufacturers.

Young, old, male or female we enjoy seeing people realize that there is such a wonderful passion in the world of hunting and fishing, just waiting for them to enjoy. Whether we are fishing, hunting, training our dogs, putting up tree stands, cooking our catch or kill, the outdoors is where we want to be. It is hard to imagine our lives without this wonderful gift, the gift of the outdoors.
